Manx: It rhymes with "thanks."

Manx n. any of a breed of shorthaired tailless domestic cats.

Like thousands before us, we struggled to find the right name for our company. Countless hours were spent debating the marketing, branding and positioning ramifications of countless possible names (not to mention countless hours checking for domain name availability). Should it be corporate? Should it be fun and creative? What sounded good? What felt right?

After literally days of debate someone suggested we simply name the company after one of our cats; or better yet, after the breed of cat: manx. After all, if a successful company can be called "Yahoo," why not "Manx?" It stuck.

Sometimes it's the simple things that work the best.
